MAIN FEATURES OF 3-TIER BATTERY CAGE

- The cage sliding doors with horizontal bars are safe and cannot be opened by the layer.

- The cage flooring is reinforced by supplementary steel wire to provide more flexibility, thus enabling the eggs to run more gently into the underlying channel;

- The shape of the deflectors provides a steady standing surface for the layers, preventing them from damaging the eggs;

- The feed trough is sturdy and has a profile which prevents any wastage of feed;

- Side walls and the roof are made of wire mesh, which allows better ventilation  and a healthier environment.

- In deep pit houses, it is possible to install a scraper unit under the batteries to transfer manure into the pit. Air is blown in, to aid the drying process of manure inside the pit.

WATER DISTRIBUTION

Each cage has two nipple drop-saving cups installed on the cage partitions.

MANURE REMOVAL SYSTEM

Plastic deflectors convey manure into a pit underneath. The battery cages can also be installed in a deep pit building, with this type of storage; manure is drier easier to transport, non-polluting and after being treated can be sold as fertilizer.
